TP White & Sons Funeral Home

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Maureen McCracken can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Beth Charlton

Maureen was my neighbor and friend for nearly 30 years. In the fall of 2014, my husband Ed and I moved to California. I am so blessed to have spent an evening with her last November when I returned for a visit. We caught up on everything and then she told me that after I left, she cried and missed me so much. I was so touched. Maureen was a wonderful lady and a good friend. We shared books and she introduced me to Irish writers. We talked politics and tried to solve the world's problems. She loved and adored her children and grandchildren. She was a gracious host every time I entered her door. I loved her airing bread! The world has lost the best that Ireland had to offer. I shall miss sending her St Patrick's Day greetings and hearing about her wonderful family. I wish I was there to help celebrate her life. I can only guess that she is so happy to be with her beloved Jim in Heaven. May she rest in eternal peace. Love, Beth (her former neighbor at 862.)
