Gregory K. "Greg"  Rhoads
Rhoads, Gregory K. passed away May 15, 2017 in his home after a long battle with cancer. He was born August 24, 1947 and grew up in Sinking Springs, Ohio. Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Audrey (McElwee) Rhoads, and his nephew, Nicholas Rhoads. He is survived by his loving wife, Christine (Cushman Robertson), Brother Gordon (Carol) Rhoads, Daughter Tonya Zembrodt, Daughter Talli (Greg) Reinert, Step-Daughter Megan (Ryan) Seitz, and Step-Son Rusty (Trina) Robertson. Greg also had 10 grandchildren that he adored, Loranna Cox, LeeAnn Zembrodt, Sydney and Shelby Reinert, Cole, Blake, and Ty Seitz, and Skylar, Shaye, and Sawyer Robertson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends. Greg was an Architect by trade and retired from KZF, Inc. after a 40+ year career from co-op to President/CEO. Beyond his work, Greg was actively involved in his community, a collector, a patron of the arts, a mentor to many, and a long time supporter of academics. Greg was an extraordinary husband and father, called Papa by his grandchildren, and was a friend to all who knew him. Per Gregs final wishes, his remains will be placed in an architectural box and later taken to the Caribbean for final memories, There will be a visitation on Thursday, May 18, from 5 - 7:30 PM at T.P. White and Sons Funeral Home at 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 19, at 1 PM at Anderson Hills United Methodist Church at 7515 Forest Rd., Anderson Twp. Donations can be made in Gregs name to the Childrens Cancer Fund.
