Edwards, John B., retired Cincinnati Police Lt. and United States Army veteran, died July 11, 2017 at the age of 88. He was the loving son of the late Edwin and Vera Edwards (nee Decico), beloved husband of Ellen Edwards (nee Amann), devoted father of Brad (Amber Senior) Edwards, Vickie Edwards, John (Lorie) Edwards Jr., Allan (Melissa) Holderby, Victor (Tia) Holderby, and Chad Holderby, caring grandfather of Gary, Molly, John III, Hannah, Colin, Jade, Jacoby, Jarrett, Jameson, and Jaclyn, great-grandfather of 4, and dear brother of the late Kate Butterfield. A memorial service will be held at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington, on Saturday, July 15 at 1 pm. Cincinnati FOP Queen City Lodge #69 will conduct services at 12:45 pm. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:30 am to 12:45 pm.
